Remember: you sign-up your court, and then the parents and youth pay the cost of the motivational, life-success programs that you sentence them to complete. You should insist that the YOUTH cover the cost - with their savings, earnings, allowance, or by doing chores for their parents.

Your teen court or youth probation can help young people see the relationship between education, career, money, and lifestyle, know how to create a personal budget for themselves, and discover how to research educational opportunities. Once they have new goals about how they can affect their future today, they'll have new tools for life planning, college or workplace preparation, life skill development, and goal setting.

WHEN DEFENDANTS COMPLETE THE PROGRAMS:  Defendants bring printed Progress Reports or Certificates of Completion back to the court to demonstrate that they have completed the Programs, or courts can logon to check progress and verify completion.   

 

ONGOING USE OF THE PROGRAMS:  The Programs and the passwords that teens (and parents) purchase will not expire, and they can continue to use the Programs if they choose.  This is especially useful if teens want to create additional life scenarios and set new goals in Peak Discovery, or update their resumes, job resources, and workplace goals in Peak Workplace.
