As part of your sentencing or sanctions through your Teen, Youth, or Peer Court (or diversion, detention, or related program), you have been ordered to complete one or more short life-success Courses. Peak Discovery, Peak Choices, and Peak Workplace are Programs you use online, from this web site, after purchasing a password your credit card or debit card. Your cost is $19.95 for an online course with a password, or $24.95 for a Printed Workbook mailed to you (see your Handout from the court). To buy a password and use the Programs, you will need: your Handout given to you by the court at sentencing, a credit or debit card, a PC connected to the Internet (home, school, office, library, etc.), and a printer connected to your PC. Your Handout also tells you which Programs you must complete, when they are due, and any special instructions from the court. After you've paid, you logon to this website and do the work in the Activities, then turn in your a printable Certificate or Report to the court. Each program has 8 to 10 Activities, and each Activity takes about one hour - so each program will take about 10 hours total. You can stop and start at any point in the programs, just be sure to save your work each time.
ABOUT THE SANCTION PROGRAMS - the Court will tell you which Course to complete: PEAK DISCOVERY: A short, direct wake-up call in a compact 8-hour Course. Presents the reality of the adult world by guiding you to discover the path to a reasonable lifestyle - the theme is, “Your choices create your future, and here's the future that's possible - it's up to you to decide." PEAK CHOICES: Builds awareness of current and past behaviors, helps you consider consequences, and guides you to reflect on the impact to yourself and others. Through this, you create reasons to make better choices, develop skills, build confidence and desire, and share with peers and leaders to get feedback and support. PEAK WORKPLACE: Earn a job and start productive work, to build confidence and eliminate idle time. Learn skills and enhance character through a job search and success on the job. Discover the importance of planning and motivation in winning a job offer and succeeding on the job.
